I operate in a couple of roles where design meets transformation.

As Senior UX Designer at Kentico — and later its successor, the AI-powered content management system, Kontent.ai — I branched into the product management wing. I moved from designing interfaces to contributing to business growth. Choosing the right product battles, measuring them, and shipping fast MVPs to validate business hypotheses.
Senior Product Designer (and second design hire) at Deepnote (YC 19) — deep data science SaaS, and briefly Mews (PMS 🦄) — I got bitten by the PLG bug. I designed and validated business activation, growth + retention models and enterprise rails for B2C2B audiences.
My calling, though, was to the next level of abstraction and impact.
As Head of Design — and later Product Director — at Sudolabs — an early-stage startup incubation, development and venture-building studio — I tackled impact at scale: to lead by playing on the same field as the rest of the company, but from advanced positions — business, PLG and strategy.
On top of being a Coach-Player I was defining the game my departments should play. Internally, by defining and maintaining top-of-class service standards. Externally via creating new offerings and multiplying LTV of our clients.
This is where I decided, explicitly, that my focus and value lie on the strategic and business level. It's where I operate best.
Concurrently, as Strategic Advisor to VAIA — the Research and Innovation Authority at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic — I was helping shape national innovation strategy.
I touched initiatives such as designing interventions for industry decarbonisation or reversing brain drain on ministry level. I coached the country's first government service-design unit in using systemic and service design practices on tackling problems with high level of uncertainty.
The altitude where policy, strategy, and systemic design converge.
For a decade I'd been optimising to see design and product functions in as many different contexts as possible, and learning from each one.
I wanted to apply the same motion to businesses in various layers — mechanics, setups, ways of operating and leading a culture.
That's the reason behind the strategy-consulting switch. I joined StrideXL — a Strategy, Business & Service design Boutique, as Strategy Consultant — and now lead strategy there. Business and strategy design became my core focus. Deliverables moved from products and interactions to services, systems and actionable strategy sequences.
I can hit the ground running at many different touchpoints. And I'm happy to help lead the way.
